"I love seeing a song grow from an idea into something magical..." - Adam Silverman

I graduated from McDaniel college in Westminster, MD with a degree in music. I spent 2 years there practicing and performing with a band called Even Isaac. We came down to Nashville, TN to record an EP at Dark Horse studios. It was my first time in a Nashville music studio, and from the moment I started tracking in that massive drum room, I knew I wanted to become a Nashville session drummer.

I made the move to TN in 2005.  I started pursuing music professionally and landed my first full time touring gig playing with a band called 33Miles (INO Records). They were a cross between contemporary Christian music and Pop Country. I gained a ton of experience both on the road and recording live performances with them. I had the opportunity to open the Dove Awards show which is like the CCM grammy awards. It was an amazing experience getting to play in front of both live and television audience members.

I toured with 33Miles for about 3 years before I got the call to work with UMG country artist Lauren Alaina. Starting as her full time drummer soon progressed  to becoming her band leader. Working with Lauren was a true blessing for me.  The diverse mix of recording, live touring, Opryland performances, as well as many television appearances, developed my drumming skills to the next level.

I appeared Live with Lauren on Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Grove Christmas Special, as well as doing 2 appearances on American Idol. We did multiple sessions including the AOL Sessions and Sessions for Walmart at Ardent recording studios. We toured hundreds of dates opening for Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, and Sugarland.  I also had the huge blessing of joining her on The Grand Ole Opry numerous times over 3 years. Playing with Kerry Marx and the rest of their amazingly talented house band was inspirational.  What an incredible journey that has been for me. I’m so thankful to Lauren for the opportunity that allowed me to grow tremendously as a musician and as a person.

About a year ago I started making the move into full time session playing. I then opened my studio “Studio Four” , named after the late amazing drummer Emmett Stallings IV. I am doing a lot of remote drum sessions for Producers, Engineers and Songwriters from Nashville to LA, recording everything from rock, pop, country, blues, gospel, CCM, and everything in between. I hope to continue doing lots of session work and broadening my experience level even further while having fun and living my passion for music out behind the drums. Thanks for taking the time to read, now let’s make some music together!
